property was used as a hunting lodge by the famous
Gran
Duke Cont Miari Pelli Fabbroni when Tuscany
was
a state of its own the 'Granducato of Tuscany'
and
when it was capital of Italy it had many
famous
guests such as King Vittorio Emanuele II.

is a lovely stone farmhouse in the midst Tuscany's Chianti
countryside southeast of Florence,was originally built
in the 18th century as a hermitage and a place of prayer.
It was then bought by Baron Sonnino with other
properties, all part of the Casolari farm.
The actual owner bought it in1975 and totally
restored the self-catering villa,
a cosy self-catering apartment below the villa and a
lovely self-catering barn that is an
independent house from the villa.
